Azra was one of the most popular and influential rock bands in Yugoslavia, formed in 1977 in Zagreb, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia. The band's music ranged from rock to new wave, post-punk, and even folk. They were known for their poetic lyrics and charismatic frontman, Đorđe Balašević.
