The story revolves around an aging businessman, Amar Nath (played by Amitabh Bachchan), who meets a mysterious woman, Riya (played by Taapsee Pannu), at a café. She shares with him a secret about a murder she had committed and then mysteriously disappears. The event sets Amar on an investigative journey that becomes an obsession.
