The film revolves around two friends, Dev (Shah Rukh Khan) and Ganesh (Varun Dhawan), who fall in love with two sisters, Soumya (Kriti Sanon) and Naina (Kajol). However, their relationships are put to the test when they get involved in a rivalry with a local don, Nardev (played by Jackie Shroff).
