Felvidek is set in a fictional region called Felvidek, which is loosely based on the historical region of Upper Hungary (now part of Slovakia). The game takes place in the 17th century, a time of great turmoil and upheaval in Central Europe. Players assume the role of a noble family leader, tasked with rebuilding and defending their estates in the face of Ottoman and Habsburg aggression.
