The movie follows Duke (Channing Tatum), a young Marine who is recruited by Joe (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), a seasoned soldier, to join the GI Joe team. The team soon discovers that Cobra is planning to launch a catastrophic attack on the world using a deadly nanotechnology called "The Nanomites." The Joes must use their skills and teamwork to stop Cobra and save the world.
