The story revolves around Raj Malhotra (Shahrukh Khan), a young man who falls in love with Simran Singh (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) while on a trip to Europe. However, their love faces opposition from Simran's father, who has vowed not to let his daughter marry. The narrative takes a turn when Raj returns to India and becomes a music teacher at a prestigious school where three young men, Aman (Varun Gandhi), Sanjay (Pooja Bhabra), and Karan (Randeep Hooda), are students. He helps them win a music competition and, more importantly, teaches them to fight for their love.
