This paper examines the a cappella vocal stylings of Ken Carson's overseas vocals, highlighting their unique sonic characteristics and artistic implications. Through a close listening analysis and acoustic measurement of select tracks, this study reveals the distinctive features of Carson's vocal technique, including his use of melodic contour, harmonic texture, and rhythmic phrasing.
