Jalaluddin Rumi, also known as Rumi, was a 13th-century Persian poet, jurist, and theologian. He was born on September 30, 1207, in Balkh, Afghanistan, and died on December 17, 1273, in Konya, Turkey. Rumi is considered one of the greatest poets of all time, and his works have had a profound impact on literature, art, and spirituality.
