The manga follows the daily life of Aoki Shingo, a 20-year-old manga artist who has just graduated from college. After struggling to find a job, Shingo becomes a manga sensei at his alma mater, Sakuragaoka High School. He is tasked with teaching a class of high school students how to create manga.
