The movie follows the story of Larry Daley (played by Ben Stiller), a museum night guard who discovers that the exhibits come to life at night. The main attraction, Teddy Roosevelt (played by Robin Williams), becomes his friend and guide. As Larry navigates this new world, he must also stop the villainous Egyptian priest, Imhotep (played by Steve Coogan), from bringing chaos to the museum.
