The movie takes place in a remote cabin in the woods, where five friends - Jules (Anna Hutchison), Dana (Kristen Connolly), Marty (Chris Hemsworth), Holden (Jesse Williams), and Parker (Fran Kranz) - spend their weekend. Unbeknownst to them, their actions are being controlled by a mysterious organization that manipulates the situation to unleash a zombie apocalypse.
