The movie follows a group of professional thieves, led by Charlie Croker (Mark Wahlberg), who plan to steal a large shipment of gold in Italy. The team, which includes Charlie's lover Natalie (Charlize Theron) and his friends Handsome Rob (Bernie Mac), Livingston Dell (Eddie Murphy), and Charlie's old flame Dolly (Amy Smart), devise a plan to use three Mini Coopers to break into the vault and escape with the gold.
